Brian currently serves as the Director, Mid Atlantic Region for P4. He brings to this position 25 years of experience as a State Police Detective on the Massachusetts State Police. His current responsibilities include daily oversight and communication with our partner security companies and our clients in New Jersey, Connecticut, Rhode Island and Massachusetts. His duties also include ensuring compliance with local laws, regulations and standard operating procedures by our partner security entities.
During his career on the Massachusetts State Police, Brian served as a Supervisor in the Executive Protection Unit developing and executing security and protection plans for the Massachusetts Governor both domestically and internationally. During this time, he cultivated numerous contacts and relationships with numerous state and federal entities, including the DEA, FBI, USSS, ATF and others. He rose to the rank of Detective Lieutenant and was appointed as Chief of Staff to the Superintendent, a position he held for 3 years until his retirement.
During Brian’s career, he attended numerous Leadership and Professional Development Courses including The Leadership in Homeland Security at the Harvard Kennedy School of Executive Education. He has trained extensively in Executive and Dignitary Protection from entities including the International Chiefs of Police, the ISA (State of Israel) Security and Combat Academy, the Connecticut State Police and the NYPD. Additionally, Brian was selected to attend the prestigious FBI National Academy in Quantico, Virginia. This academy is attended by the top one percent of law enforcement officers in the world. Brian is an active Member of The FBI National Academy Association. He also holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice and a Master’s Degree in Law Enforcement.
In 2015, Brian was one of two Lieutenants selected to oversee security at the Medal of Honor Convention in Boston. This event acknowledges and honors the bravery and valor of our nation’s highest military honor recipients, and to be tasked with the safety of these men and their families was a highlight of Brian’s career. Brian also serves his community in Massachusetts by being a member of the local Cops for Kids with Cancer team. This charity raises money to go directly to children afflicted by cancer to do whatever it is they wish and to alleviate their financial burden. This charity is near and dear to Brian and to the team with whom he works.
