ADAM JOHNSON
Adam is the co-founder and Chief Operating Officer of The P4 Companies, where he oversees business operations, human resources, finance, risk mitigation, and policy development. With nearly two decades of experience in the security industry, Adam has built a career marked by leadership, innovation, and operational excellence. He began his career at Target Corporation, where he was responsible for security, safety, loss prevention, and operations across a region that included high-revenue stores generating over $400 million annually, employing over 2,000 people.
In 2012, Adam transitioned to contract security with Securitas Security Services USA, where he managed one of the region’s largest portfolios. His expertise spans various industries, including commercial real estate, data centers, manufacturing, healthcare, construction, and retail, and he has a proven track record of improving security operations, driving business development, and enhancing portfolio profitability.
Adam is deeply committed to advancing the security industry. His passion for training, professional development, continuing education, and creating value-added, integrated security solutions is central to his leadership approach. He has also played significant roles in industry organizations, serving as a consultant to the board and past president of the Illinois Security Professionals Association (ISPA), where he spearheaded the recruitment of the association’s first executive director and drove substantial growth during his tenure. He remains actively involved with ASIS International and the Special Agents Association.
